In his junior season, Calabrese recorded 104 tackles earning first-team all-Essex county, first-team all-group I, and second-team all-state by the Star Ledger. He was also a repeat selection as the Essex County Defensive Player of the Year. After missing four games in his sophomore season due to a broken wrist, he recorded 53 solo tackles, 2.5 sacks, and four fumble recoveries. He carries a 3.2 GPA.
