Cincinnati Elder tight end Alex Welch is becoming a regular in South Bend.
After taking unofficial visits to Notre Dame for the Michigan State game (Sept. 19) and the USC game (Oct. 17), the 2010 Irish commit returned to campus on an official visit for the Boston College game. He had been around the players in the past, but this time around he got to spend the entire weekend with them.
