The buzz has been incessant since before Trevor Robinson made a return trip to Notre Dame's campus last weekend for the annual football banquet.

On Friday, less than 24 hours after Charlie Weis paid a visit to Robinson's Elkhorn, Neb. home, that buzz finally reached its inevitable crescendo.
